The Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment provides the opportunity for individuals who would like to start a career in UK Construction Industry. A high level of support is provided to help you satisfy the NVQ requirements.
You’ll gain the confidence to carry out your Labourer responsibilities efficiently and effectively.
Qualification Diploma: Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment (QCF) by British Safety Council or TQUK.
WHAT ARE THE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS?
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. However, potential candidates must be able to demonstrate to us they can meet the requirements of the qualification before enrolment.
HOW IS THE QUALIFICATION ASSESSED?
Our Labourer’s Level 1 Awards are delivered in our classroom in Finchley Central or the knowledge can be assessed online before the final online examination. There are 2 ways of demonstrating competence for the assessment process:
- Completing a Paper-Based Assessment Workbook
- Completing our online examination test which contains 40 multiple-choice questions.
WHAT IS THE DURATION OF THE COURSE?
Our dedicated assessor support will be available for a period of up to one month.
However, this qualification will be achieved between one to two weeks depending on the motivation of the learner.
There are Guided Learning Hours (GLH) of 56.
PROFESSIONAL RECOGNITION AND ACCREDITATIONS
After course completion, this qualification leads to the CSCS Labourers Green Card valid for 5 years with qualification endorsement on the back of the card.
